What to say? After sitting on the adopts for over a year and desperately wanting to feel better about something, I commissioned ProbablyFakeBlonde to make a seaside picture. She's got fantastic work, and if you aren't watching her, you should. One of her forest pieces with a pond had beautiful lighting and a great character dynamic. I knew she'd be probably perfect to inject some additional personality into the two and create a scene that I wanted but couldn't imagine.
Last night I saw she was streaming, and watched her finish. It was a joy. Enthralling the way she used layers, brush shapes to build up the rock pool. I went to get a drink and the sky had gone from white-space to nearly complete with clouds. She had a lot of attention to lighting, and details, and so, so, so many layers. Also, great music.
