I bought this because I can't think of new things, it seems. While 'hermit-crab-pony' isn't terribly unique or difficult as a concept, it didn't occur to me until after I'd seen her version. Yes, I could likely work something up with a Conch shell; we had one in our house and I stared at it growing up for 20 years. It seemed unfair to just do that when this picture is what got me thinking along those lines, so I adopted it. Also, I figured it would go well with the blue seapony I also got from her. Also, it has great Fall tones.
