Red eye is a Gnoll Devil Rager. he was born with devil's blood in him, and when enraged, he'd go into a berzerk state, in which he had little control - this cost him his arm, legs, and eyes.

Set ablaze by Yenoghu when red eye refused to attack a small peaceful village, he helplessly barreled forward toward the town - a lone paladin ready to defend. it should've been easy, but the paladin knew how to fight his kind. he first clawed out his eyes with a specially made gauntlet (leaving the horrid scars across his face, to the very bone) and then in his disgruntled and desperate flailing, he removed an arm - his left, and rolled between his legs, forcefully removing both of them. He was left in a growling, roaring heap, bleeding more than any creature should have been able to. but that's what set him free. as the paladin muttered last rites, and blessed the poor soul, he bled out enough of the devil's blood in his veins to regain himself, starting to desperately crawl away from the town using his single arm. before passing out, several remarkable miles away from what should have been his grave, he saw a lone gnoll walking - hurrying to him.

it was oghra, and she dragged his husk of a body back to her small village of 'useless gnolls', and had Segghri patch him up. he barely survived, but now he enjoys his newfound peace in the village, telling tales of his adventures and escapades to the cubs and ibidians of the village.


he's also made good with the paladin - who'd chanced upon the town. he's glad it happened - no longer troubled by his uncontrollable rage.

Even without his eyes, he can recognise anyone he's met before by their scent and voice (breathing, etc) very well.
