Here's everyone's favorite vixen and snake duo, now in color! I decided to make her a grey fox, and I used a python as reference for the snake. I also used a subtantialy different shading technique than I have for the rest of my colored images, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.

The python as a reference worked out beautifully I think and rather majestic with the vixen sitting upon his coils, Not sure if he's about to hug her or otherwise ^_^ But lovely nonetheless. I like the breasts as well as Umbreona said, they don't take away from the rest of the picture XD
I tend to prefer black and white in illustrations like this, but that might just be because that's how I see them first. But in this case, it's really nice to see the snake coloured to show the contrast between his back and sides, against his light/white under belly.
It also seems like there's an eerie green light source somewhere, making the bottom parts of coils and fox feet have a green tinge.. I'm just wondering where that came come. Also, the fox is coloured very nicely, but I have to admit that at first glance, my brain read the gray on her back as a darker shading, as opposed to grey fox colouring. Oh well, that's just because I never see any grey foxes. :}===<
Also, I love the snake's eye and tongue colour.. very unique.

Yes, some people like the sketches more than the colored pieces, I've noticed. My mother says the same thing.
As for the eerie green light, well, I'll level with you. When I was coloring it, I was going to have the background green, so I was shading it appropriately. Then I made it brown and foresty, and I forgot to go back and fix the tinting on the scales and legs and such. I suppose I need to fix that, at some point.
And you don't really see grey foxes with markings like this, in furry art, I've noticed. I was working from a picture of a fox as reference.
As for the eye and tongue... I like purple. =P
