Everybody knows that one of Marshall's friends is a nice handsome raccoon named Dan. Every once in a while Marshall and Dan would do buddy things like working out in the backyard, taking autumn walks, and other things.

Marshall also knows that he's secretly a AB/DL, and he also knows that he wears diapers every now and then. In fact, he and Dan was going to plan a cub out playdate. However, Dan told Marshall time after time that the playdate would have to wait a little longer because of his busy work schedule.

And time after time he would see Dan in his nice uniform as he leaves from his house, and drives himself to the airport.

And Dan would be gone for a long time. Sometimes he'll be gone for a week. Sometimes two or three weeks. A few times, he'll be gone for a whole month.

Marshall did ask his mommy, Laura, why Dan would be here for one day and be gone for a long time. Laura, who knows about Dan's occupation, told Marshall that he's a commercial pilot at the downtown airport. She told Marshall that Dan flies a airplane and flies from state to state and from country to country, picking up and dropping off passengers at their correct destinations.

And it's a important job too. Sometimes Dan has to go to work whenever he's paged to come to work. Even on his days off, whenever his pager goes off, he'll have to report for work whenever he approves or not.

Marshall felt kind of sad that Dan has a huge responsible job, and that he's always gone most of the time. But Laura would tell him that Dan would return, and one day they'll have their playdate.

One month later, Marshall had a surprise waiting for him. As Laura knocked on his bedroom door, he told him that someone special is here for a playdate. As she went downstairs to get his playmate, Marshall changed himself into a fresh diaper and waited. Marshall probably thinks that it's Crunch, or Digitz, or even Scout that's going to play with him.

But imagine Marshall's surprise that when Laura came into his nursery, she was holding Dan in her arms! Marshall also noticed that Dan's been regressed to a toddler, complete with a pacifier in his mouth, and a thick baby diaper taped around his waist. Laura then set Toddler Dan in Marshall's crib and told them to have a wonderful playdate.

Marshall climbed into his crib where Dan was waiting for him. When Marshall asked Dan about the sudden playdate, he explained (in the typical baby talk) that two days ago as he returned home from his scheduled flight, Laura told him that Marshall misses him very much. And he also told Marshall that he has a five day break (that is, if he isn't being paged), and on his first day, he'll have their playdate.

His regression was also Dan's idea. He drank a bottle of FOY water so he could be at Marshall's age for their playdate. Marshall was so very happy, he gave Dan a big hug. Then Marshall got out a rubber airplane and the two toddlers had a fun time tossing the airplane back and forth to each other.
