Ended up in a mood to write some vore involving Revali from Breath of the Wild, and decided his "lucky" meal should be a Rito version of Raf :3
Revali goes to great lengths to prove an unnecessary boast about his eating prowess, something the hefty server at the local inn learns the hard way...
Revali's Feast
By: IndigoRho
As the sun slowly began its dip over the horizon, cheers and chatter echoed out from the inn of the Rito Village. Revali—the Rito Champion—had once again gathered up a group of fellow villagers to feast and celebrate his accomplishments, which he could easily boast about for hours on end without pause. While the non-stop gloating and tall tales grew old fast, an invitation from the Champion himself was deemed too illustrious to turn down so most simply endured him out of respect. Besides, the food was good and free. The hefty server had just finished passing out the first course of fried poultry when an innocent off-hand comment managed to reach Revali's ears.
“Finally, I feel like I could eat two whole birds just by myself!”
Above all else Revali prided himself in being the best, and on that night he decided to interpret the simple exaggeration as a challenge. “Only two birds?” The Champion's voice quieted the gathering, all eyes turning to him; just the way he liked it. “I guess that'd be impressive to fledglings, but I could easily eat five myself. A benefit of having the strongest appetite in all Hyrule.”
The other Rito were unsure of how to respond to the unnecessarily bold statement, until one who'd had a little too much to drink already chimed in to encourage him. “Please Champion, regale us with your eating prowess!”
“Gladly,” Revali replied with a grin.
Most would have accepted their bluff had been called and changed the subject, but Revali truly believed in his own hype, tackling the challenge without a second thought. After all, a little overindulgence couldn't be that hard. Revali quickly called over the server, an obese tan-feathered fellow with a permanent scowl who was easily twice as wide as everyone else at the inn. The large Rito waddled over, somehow managing to frown even harder once he heard Revali's request for five entire fried chickens. He made a brief attempt to protest before the Champion hassled him into complying, then wandered off to the prepare the unexpected feast. In the meanwhile, Revali dug into his original order.
Fried poultry of all kinds was a favorite amongst the Rito, and Revali's tastes were no different. His beak eagerly tore into the first few pieces, the Champion insistent on finishing before anyone else in order to cast aside doubts of his appetite. Every last scrap of meat was dealt with until only meticulously cleaned bones remained; no one appeared to notice, the others far more interested in enjoying their meals at a casual pace. Despite his hunger being sated Revali loudly proclaimed otherwise, making sure to bemoan the fact the kitchen couldn't keep up with his consumption, and how he'd need to start ordering ahead of time. Fortunately for all stuck in attendance the server returned with a plate almost overflowing with chicken.
“Here's the first bird,” the server grumbled as he placed the large dish in front of Revali before immediately leaving to help prepare more.
Revali betrayed a moment of surprise upon learning exactly how much was in a whole chicken, but his bravado returned swiftly, the Rito attacking his plate as if his reputation actually depended on it. One-by-one the attentions of the rest of the group shifted back to Revali as they realized he was serious about proving his claim. He was clearing the chicken faster than most had believed possible, and never leaving even a single bit of meat uneaten. His normally flat stomach was steadily rounding out as he gorged, the creases of his red undershirt vanishing as it tightened along with his belt. The Rito was focused exclusively on eating, though, and didn't notice his swelling middle. Revali was sporting a pot belly by the time he'd reached the last drumstick.
Then two more chickens arrived. The Champion gulped as he looked upon them, his freshly cleared plate whisked away and replaced by the double serving. Worry allowed his repressed feelings of fullness to make their presence known, and Revali immediately understood slowing down would be his downfall. He'd simply have to blitz through the challenge.
“Good, they've finally brought out portions fit for a Champion of my caliber!” He shouted with confidence.
The Champion ate. And ate. And ate. He held a piece of chicken in each wing, beak flashing between them as he resorted to swallowing strips whole just to stay ahead of his protesting stomach. His belt dug into his taut belly—the leather groaning with every bite—before the buckle snapped off, his middle wobbling free. Revali's shirt didn't fare much better, slowly tearing apart at the sides as it fell to his gluttony. The white dome of his swelling, feathery gut was becoming the center of attention, everyone amazed at how much the nominally lithe Rito as able to consume. Though overeating to such a ridiculous extent was incredibly difficult, Revali maintained a smug outward appearance; being seen struggling simply wouldn't do.
To Revali's own surprise his two latest dishes had nearly been reduced to bones, his belly pushing up against the table. As before, the server arrived just as he was finishing, carrying a single plate. The Champion assumed the final chicken was being cooked, and didn't bother gloating before attacking what had been delivered. His gut stretched and jiggled with every bite, a mass that dwarfed all in attendance—aside from the conspicuously still-present server. Through sheer force of will Revali stuffed himself far beyond the point of reason, eating more than the rest of the table combined. Despite his enthusiasm his pace was beginning to slow, and he let out a short groan upon defeating the fourth dish.
Expecting another plate to slide before him, Revali was disappointed to discover the server was standing around doing nothing. “You there, um...whatever your name is!”
The doughy server seemed reluctant to answer, but gave in after a particularly harsh glare from the Champion. “Raf.”
“Raf, where's that fifth—urrrrrrrp—fifth chicken,” he demanded, struggling to maintain his composure.
“There isn't one, your group ate all the chicken we had,” the server replied with an obvious hint of irritation.
“This is completely unacceptable!” Revali fumed. “I promised they would see me eat five birds whole, a Champion can't break his promise!”
Raf simply shrugged, putting zero effort into appeasing the frustrated famous customer. “We've got plenty of boar and fish still.”
Revali was on the verge of unleashing a tirade upon the grumpy server when a rather drastic solution crossed his mind. His anger vanished in an instant, a wide grin spreading across his face. “Actually, I think I just found bird number five.”
The Champion's declaration confused Raf—and everyone else nearby—until Revali's wings grabbed onto the server's shoulders and pulled him forwards, his beak opening wide. There was an audible gasp from the onlookers as Revali crammed Raf's head into his maw, the Champion using his superior strength to hold his fellow Rito in place as he slowly began to swallow him whole. Raf was understandably panicked, wings flailing as he felt more and more of his body being pulled in, his head descending down Revali's throat. He couldn't even begin to believe what was happening to him was possible, and thus failed to adequately fight back or free himself before it was too late. Meanwhile the other Rito were stunned into inaction, not sure at all how to respond to what they were seeing.
Every swallow worked to devastate Revali's outfit. His light blue scarf was completely unwrapped by the bulge Raf made in his neck, sliding to the floor in a heap. The straps holding up his small chestplate tore in multiple spots, while what little remained of the red shirt was soundly destroyed. The overwhelming smell of chicken greeted Raf as his head pushed into the stomach, the Rito squirming harder once he realized he was about to be crammed into the mush of Revali's gluttonous feast. Revali's belly bounced wildly as it ballooned outward, causing the Champion to wince from the strain. He pushed on, though, obsessed with proving without a shadow of a doubt he was the greatest eater in the land
Raf's large gut seemed like a daunting hurdle to the morbidly mesmerized audience watching, but Revali found his beak stretching impossibly wide to handle his girthy unwilling meal. A few more strong gulps took in the Rito's thick thighs, his tail feathers flapping in distress until Revali's beak put an end to them. With the end in sight Revali gripped his prey's talons and pushed, groaning as he miraculously finished off the last of Raf. The Champion had actually consumed another, much larger living being whole. Revali's belly was absolutely enormous now, a lumpy mass constantly in motion as the Rito within struggled against confinement. Eating Raf had been exhausting, and Revali took a minute to recover, panting as he prodded his enlarged middle. His cockiness was swift to return.
“See, I told you I was—braaaaaap—hungry enough to eat five birds,” Revali smirked.
Having witnessed the extreme lengths Revali was willing to go to prove a point, the other Rito quickly offered the Champion praise while assuring him they'd never doubted his skill. A few silently expressed sympathy for unfortunate Raf, but not enough to risk discovering if Revali had room for another Rito in his gut.
“Anyway, have I ever told you about the time I cleared out an entire moblin encampment without ever touching the ground?” The barrage of shaking heads was exactly what Revali wanted to hear, the Rito leaning back with both wings on his shifting belly. Raf's pleas and struggles went unanswered as the Champion who'd gobbled him up returned to his boasting, the poor server doomed by an innocent comment and a massive ego...
