The red head lifted his eyes ,finally, to meet the yellow eyed wolf's intense gaze.His smile was ever lasting,and his gaze ever so friendly.
The wolf,tall and broad at it's shoulders, stood equal height to Glacies:Quite large for a wolf, but then again,Glacies was quite small for a fortem.
The wolf looked over the red headed Alpha a second time before cocking his head.
"How do you control such a beast within your ranks? You...are an angel amoung demons. A....fawn amoung bulls
A light amoung staggering darkness. Ive never seen a fortem with such control..collection...calculating cunning. Though I do not doubt your power despite your size, what is your hold on these monsters...?"
They glanced down upon the flatlands,from atop one of many land bridges. Warriors trained in peacetime...guaranteed to be ready for war.
As Glacies observed, his smile stretched a bit wider.
His head rose a bit higher.
He stood as tall as he could and glanced over to his temporary companion.
"A...Will of iron,and chains of steel."
the wolf focused on Glacies and noted with slight disturbance that the smile had seemed to...rot into something much less genuine...not..trustworthy.
"Ambition......Ive held these beasts for many years And...I did not do it by being an angel among demons, or a fawn amoung bulls."
he turned to the wolf with baggy,wild eyes and a smile that threatened to tear his mouth:A very,very forced grin.

He looked on at Umbrestride below, and watched him paint the floor crimson with an unlucky prisoner.
