Light’s Bakery… 7;38 am…
The morning sun shone through the windows of Light’s bedroom. His blanket barely covering his body from all the weight he gained from the day prior. He could hear Duli in the other room, snoring away like no tomorrow. He threw the blanket off of him and saw his large gut sprawled out over his legs. He slid out of bed catching himself from falling since his balance was off from his massive gut. He spotted his clock out of the corner of his eye and yelled, “Crud! I'm late!”
He waddled his way from his room down to the bakery just below their home. Chris was already helping customers as Light walked up to him, “Sorry I'm late Chris, i overslept.”
Chris smiled and patted him on the shoulder, “It's ok Light, we all of those days, plus, I can’t fire you anyway.”
Light breathed a sigh of relief, “Thanks, I can take over from here.”
Chris nodded, “Alright, I’ll make sure we stay fully stocked, we got plenty of carnival goers to feed.”
Light nodded back, “Then let's do what we do best.”
Closing time… 8:07 pm…
Light wipes some sweat from his forehead, “Whew, nice job bro, we made some good money today. What's our leftovers looking like?”
Chris entered the dining area, “Well, we got a lot and we only sell fresh items so we gotta eat this stuff.”
Light tilted his head, “We usually donate it though.”
Chris shook his head, “Yea, I know, I donated the max amount possible.”
Light looked at him in shock, “Geez you made that much!”
Chris nodded, “Yea, I kinda got carried away.”
Light sighed, “May as well put it to use, let's get it upstairs, we can eat it up their.”
Chris smiled, “Alright, I'll get Duli to help.”
Light waddled into the kitchen, “Good, we will…”
Duli turned around, a doughnut was in his mouth and he had a armful of treats, “Uh, I can explain.”
Light laughed, “You're fine bud, just put that stuff upstairs and help us bring all this up their.”
Duli nodded, “Got it.”
Chris entered the kitchen, “Let's get to work guys.”
Two hours later… 10:27 pm…
Light flopped onto the couch panting heavily, as the couch creaked in protest to his weight, “That… was a lot… of food…”
Duli nodded, “Yea… it was…” He shoved a doughnut into his mouth.
Chris brought the last bit of food, “This… is the last… of it…”
Light got up slowly, “Let's dig in then…”
The three dug into the kitchen-ful of treats, slowly increasing their weight, making their fat bodies grow bigger. The group did finish the treats, but found other things in the kitchen to eat. They cleaned out cabinets, drawers, and Duli cleaned the fridge and freezer of food. Now not only were the leftovers gone, so was ever bit of food in the kitchen.
Light laid flat on his back and let out a monstrous burp, “Geez, that was a lot.”
Duli had his back against the counter, and was rubbing his hugely full gut, “Yea, I've never eaten that much in… well ever.”
Chris was resting his head on Light’s gut, “Same here.”
Light yawned, “Agreed…”
Chris patted his brothers belly, “Let's get to bed, it's about 11:30. We got work in the morning and three more days of this carnival to finish.”
Duli helped Light get up, “Yea, also Duli, would you mind helping out for the rest of the carnival, and also to just help around the house as well?”
Duli nodded, “Yea, it's the least I could do since you are allowing me to stay here for the allotted time.”
Chris smiled, “Thanks, so if you wouldn't mind, I'll leave a grocery list for you. It's gonna be long, since we kinda emptied the kitchen tonight, so if you could get this place stocked tomorrow, that'll help us a lot.”
Duli jokingly saluted, “Understood Chris.”
Chris chuckled, “Alrighty, we got another big day, so let's get some sleep.” Duli and Light nodded as the three went to their rooms and fell asleep with the sound of their creaking beds.”
The next morning… 6:31 pm…
Chris and Light were already downstairs preparing the bakery for opening. Duli got out of bed and stretched his arms. His gut let out a loud grumble, signify it needed to be fed. He saw the long list sitting on his bedside table. He read through it and got out of his bed. He smiled and waddled his way downstairs.
He smiled at Chris, “I'm heading out to get the groceries, I'll be back later.”
Chris nodded, “Got it, we will be here waiting for you.”
Duli left through the back door and breathed in the cool Alolan morning air. He waddled down the sidewalk, many Pokémon stared at him and some eve gasped at him, since he was a weight loss trainer, now he was blubbery and fat. He didn't care, plus some young kids asked to hug him since he looked so soft.
He finally made it to the grocery store, though he was tired out from walking. He managed to squeeze through the door and blushed a bit as people started at him. He grabbed a cart and started to fill it high with food that was on his list. He did grab a bit more than what was asked though. He payed and asked to have the food delivered to the bakery which was then paid for as well. He squeezed through the door again and retraced his steps back to the bakery.
Duli stopped of at a fast food place on his way back though, ordering more food than a Snorlax could ever dream of eating. He started eating his food as he resumed his trek back to the bakery.
It was about halfway through service when Duli finally arrived back at the place and his food was already gone since his gluttony got the best of him.
Chris smiled, “Welcome back Duli.”
Duli smiled back, “Thanks, also the groceries will be here later today.”
Chris nodded, “Thanks for the help. I left you a little something upstairs for your help. Also, you got some ketchup on your second chin.”
Duli blushed and wiped it off, “Thanks.”
Chris smiled again, “No problem.”
Duli waddled back upstairs and saw his little gift from Chris. It was a large chocolate cake that he made. Duli grabbed it and sat down on the couch, which creaked loudly under his large weight. He gobbled down the cake as he turned on the TV. He switched to Alolan News and turned up the volume a bit. The news talked about the carnival and some weather stuff, but before he knew it, the couch cracked under his weight.
Duli blushed, “Oh no.”
Chris came upstairs, “You ok Duli!?”
Duli nodded, “Yea, and uh, I broke the couch.”
Chris chuckled, “It's fine, I'll get a better one tonight.”
Duli smiled, “Don't forgot about all new furniture in general, they won't hold long.”
Chris nodded, “Yep and reinforced stairs.”
Later that day… 9:32 pm…
Chris filled the kitchen with treats again, “I made too much again.”
Light smiled, “Eh, I don't mind anymore.”
Duli nodded, “Same here.”
Chris laughed, “Then let's dig in guys.”
The group dug in, stuffing their faces with whatever they could get their paws on, growing fatter by the minute. They even managed to clean out the kitchen again without even trying. The moon rose higher in the blackened sky as the three finished up eating and went to their rooms as they crushed their beds, and fell asleep on their mattresses.
