Androsia has always had a stoic, protective companion at their side. I've just never really designed them till now. This is Goombay, named after the drum played by native Bahamians - just like how Androsia is named after the vibrant fabric that is produced by native Bahamians on Andros Island.

Goombay is quiet and observant, always watching over Andi. They are life-long companions since the day they were born in the alien research facility on Andros Island. While Andi is the bubbly and friendly of the two, Goombay is more aloof.

Though they are alien hybrids with no discernible sex, Goombay is the larger of the two and has a slightly deeper voice and is more often addressed with male pronouns. He has naturally taken on the role of the "protective older brother: - however, they are not actually related.

Despite his quiet and distant nature, Goombay is much like Andi in that he is super excitable when music is playing. He dances, beats his tail, lights up his antenna, flaps his gills and sings along just the same.
