I entered this for a DTA bagbean adopt and won >v< dream bean theme right here around 'night terrors'
Personally I've never been into the gruesome, bloody side of the horror genre and am a huge baby. However... I am absolutely in love with the scene set up and mental baiting of horror videogames like Little Nightmares and Amnesia. In particular I tried to channel a lot of Little Nightmares into this because night terrors are often associated with small children and that game is all about being a small helpless child navigating your way to safety.
You'll notice a reoccurring theme of eyes including on the wall paper...as well as a few other details meant to come across as unsettling. The room is at an angle to feel uncomfortable despite the comforting gesture the bean makes with her hand on a soundly sleeping Meme sprout.
In the bagbean 'game' there are creatures called smols which I thought would make interesting taxidermy because I love the smols and it seemed creepy and fitting. The rest I'll...sort of leave up in the air. I really want to encourage a thinking piece of people seeing details and putting together their own narrative.
Except the foot. I'll explain the foot.

I just can't get over this story. No worries it is totally safe.
Anyways as for the bean's personality, I see her as a horror novelist who writes short scary stories for young sprouts. I guess think Goosebumps series XD
Growing up she had a very troubled childhood that resulted in a lot of frequent nightmares. Her bag became a comfort object for her to 'scare' the bad things away. When she was older she decided to write about her nightmares as a therapeutic way to deal with them. Turns out, a lot of people found her work an interesting read and she managed to make a good career out of it. She's a bit eccentric in her tastes and a bit intimidating at times because of her often distant and awkward personality, but deep down she has a good heart and wants to help sprouts conquer their own fears.
