Once upon a time there where two brothers.....

He use to be Tarnac Second Prince of Shadow Deep. His older brother carried the Fey Bloodline while he did not. However as by the laws of his people those in the family bloodline that did gain the fey blood where not allowed to assend to the position of king.

This is where Terren Struck, calling Tarnac to him, he tricked him into donning a new magical item. A collar of Permanence. Which spells that are cast on a subject become permanent but drain the experience instead of from the caster from the wearer. Not knowing the items real powers Tarnac placed it on and was then beseiged by spells cast by his older brother.
The first was a Polymorph spell transforming him into an elf, the second Alter Other permanently changing the pigments of the skin and hair, third a Reverse Gender spell trapping him in the body of what appeared to all the world to be a Female Drow. But the final spell was one that stripped away the memories of Tarnac.
With all the rapid changes and pain brought to her she fell unconsious and Terren gather new clothes and equipment for her.
The arcane throne would show if any of the nobles where killed or had died. His father was on deaths bed and now Terren had the throwne until his brother could be found.
How sad he was lost and the kingdom gained a fledging Enchanter from underdark whom had no memories of her past by was more than willing to help the current lord find his missing brother in exchange for helping her when she had no other help in the world.
