This one's a bit of an older piece. I might personally finish it sometime soon, once I can find the .PSD file. (It got misplaced, so I haven't returned to it since then)

Marissa is a curious creature of mine. I guess you could say I fell for Rule 63: "63. For every male character there is a female version. No Exceptions." (source: http://rulesoftheinternet.com/ ) Marissa therefore is technically the female variation of Matt. For years I wanted to avoid this, going as far as creating alternate characters that would suffice and not simply become a "copy+paste" of a pre-existing character. Despite that, the characters I did create weren't able to accurately depict Matt as a female as I'd hoped they would. So, at long last, I decided to simply make a "copy+paste" of the character Matt, but to spice things up a bit, her memory is a bit "scattered." She does remember many things, just as Matt does. But, instead of having her follow the exact storyline as my character Matt does, I allow this character to have the freedom of becoming her own self, rather than completely mirroring my character Matt altogether. Anything that will happen that changes her over the course of her storyline I will allow. That way, I hope to differentiate the characters rather than simply "here is the boy version of the character, here is the girl version." It's going to be a bit tricky, but I hope to pull it off. ...I'm really not fond of Rule 63 characters >,<; although Rule 63.2 does pique my interest a bit: "63.2.
