09' shit acrylics on shit flat canvas 8"x20" each. (god i hate shitty paints but i guess it's alright)

I went to my friends yesterday after skating and a shower (almost fell asleep at the wheel just getting there) but i did these in an hour each. Started w/ the deer ( i <3 deer) and did the back ground then painted him w/ just violet and yellow and a mix of the 2 to give the black and the browns, then white for the but and some fur details. (violet antlers rock ^)(^) he is a male buck.

I love working in series so i wanted to make an opposite of my deer. So a bird came to mind. So i kinda did the same technique for the back ground but gave swirls like wind for it instead of the sharpness that looks like flames for the deer. I put some blue highlights for the feathers for the bird, but i don't know if you can see them. (btw i suck at birds) At the end my friend said it was even maybe that the deer was in hell and the bird in heaven just playing off the opposites as much as i could i guess. The bird is a female.
