I can't help but be reminded of the symbiotic plant/animals like in Miyazaki's "Nausicaa: Warriors of the wind." My first impression on seeing the creature in the white, swinging basket chair was to wonder on how She, (?) can resist plucking at the growths emerging from her (?) head and neck. They look really "Healthy" at least.
