Gee, what to say about this guy: Have there been people on this earth who've done worse than this bastard, ABSOLUTELY! (One of them not 2 months ago.) But what makes 'Ol Charlie particullary abhorrent is his soul. I did a report on him in college, and while I don't remember what was in it, or what grade I got, I do remember that reading his words made me sick to my soul (especially since he might be right. For Humanity's sake, he needs to be proven wrong.) Most of the evil people in this world gave me feelings of anger, disgust, even hate, but Manson was different: I find him reppellant on a primal level that I can't describe, except that instinctual feeling that says "Keep Away." There's rarely ever been a soul more nihilisticly mesmerizing as his, Rasputin incarnate.
This man was pure evil, and now he's where he belongs, even if it's just sitting forever at the front gate.
Charles Manson:

"The man so evil Hell refused him entry."

What was interesting about Manson was that he'd spent nearly all his adult life, and a large chunk of his childhood, behind bars anyway, so prison was more of a home to him than the real world, where he had limited job skills and almost no formal education since he'd gotten himself expelled from all the schools he'd attended with his rebellious attitude (which he'd learned from redneck family members mostly). So when he was on trial for all the murders, he'd told the law enforcement "Go ahead, send me home, your punishments mean nothing".
Since I don't believe in objective morality, I don't use the word "evil" lightly, but he was definitely a master manipulator and deeply mentally unstable individual that brought a lot more harm than good to the world, so perhaps that actually fits.
