Another older piece never used....I had been trying to capture something happening suddenly on a peaceful lazy morning, and to me it just didn't work as I liked. :P

The planes are Mitsubishi A6M's outfitted with single torpedoes. Granted it was actually the army version, but the only model I had at the time. :P The angle of the drawing did not really leave any room for a positive structure or markings for ID either. :P As for the torpedoes.....well, #3 was drawn in another panel soon to be uploaded. :)

Exactly, though the photos I used <Shown in flight with Torps mounted, around 1944> here are of the A6M5 Reisen, version E, and one torpedo is about all they could carry. :P It's really amazing what mods were actually used in the war that never made the history books. A gunless Zeke who's only role was to zip out from an island and drop a fish. :P
