That's good. I would sometimes be tempted to just do one Auto-color or Auto-Levels in Photoshop. It's...a habit XD Of course no one can tell

hehe...i cant use photoshop to do anything.....all my photos are just touched up slightly in windows photo gallery

Heh. Autocolor or autolevels usually screw everything on a photo too much. From my experience.

Really? I only do it once at the beginning of a document. Most of the time I don't even have to if the colors are pleasing to the eye already. At most, i'll probably manually adjust levels by moving sliders around. Oh and one Sharpen never hurts either =p

Never say never -- sharpen adds awesome noise to photos taken at ISO 800+. Rather, it makes the noise inherent to high ISO extremely visible.
As for what autocolor/autolevels do... Taking as an example the pic of the swimming wasp in my gallery, it makes it totally acid green.

Ahh i went to look and I see what you mean^^; Well i guess it depends on the DPI and the amount of lighting. Hey afterall, photography and what needs to be changed is dependent on the person taking the shots :)

And on conditions the shots were taken in, too, regrettably. No camera so far is as fully and quickly adaptable as our own eyes :)
