Took me a bit longer than expected-- mostly because of family visitations happening as of late. It's all over now, and as soon as the formalities were over, I went right back into my room, picked up where I left off and finally finished it.

I've alot on my mind as of late, and this kind of helped take the edge off... but not by much. I won't bore anyone on that though-- that's not why you're here.

Once, again. Once again, my friends! Here we are today folks with another Social Sierrace moment with one of our fine, and I DO mean FINE, citizens of Sierrace! Let's give it up for Professor Marina von Noir!

*grinning after a brief expel of laughter* "It's nice to be here."

Where to begin... ah yes, tell us what you do Professor Noir?

"Marina is fine... but yes, I'm a professor of genetic engineering and lead researcher over at Semper Oaks, the city just south of Sierrace."

Fascinating. Brains AND beauty! You must hear that alot, however.

"Yeaaah you'd think so but not alot of people know I'm smart outside of the labs. I keep myself in the labs most of the day, it's either that or behind books, data charts, monitors, that sort of thing."

Anything specific based on that?

"My work, mostly. Genetic engineering is a tough thing to push considering 'humanity' as a whole. I'm not just talking about humans-- I'm talking about the natural order of things by religious connotations-- anthro/furry/human-- whatever they want to call themselves and who they are. The fact of the matter is that I'm doing some good for existence as a whole. The stigmas about anthros as a whole remaining 'feral' or being distinctly animal by nature is a misconception-- and history has alot to pay for that. Perhaps in some other alternate universe out there, if you believe in that sort of thing, maybe there's only a place where HUMANS exist and our kind, anthros, what have you, are nothing more than fetishes, fads, trends, whatever..."

Yeah kind of tripper... what kind of work do you dwell on specifically though?

"Genetic therapy... again, alot of people call it 'playing God' but like I've said, I'm doing some good for our kind to mute and nullify all the stigmas about anthros out there, including myself. Sadly, this means alot of my time is spent here."

You don't get out much?

"Not as much as I'd like... not after Juju and I er... moved our separate ways."

Hold on a second... you dated Juju? Juju Hakuda?

"For a brief time," *blushing* "yes."

Brief? How brief?

"Couple of months or so... I know it didn't last that long however-- we were kind of off and on about it."

That's odd, I just finished an interview with him, he'd never brought you up when I asked.

*laughing as she smiled brightly* "You probably weren't specific. Juju can evade you that way if his dense personality hasn't stonewalled you."

What was it like dating him?

*sighing as her eyes seemed to wander into a daze* "I recall most of it feeling like some kind of high school relationship thing... ya know, the excitement. The spontaneity of it all--I guess you could say I just had a crush on him and maybe that's why it didn't work out."

So you weren't serious?

"Oh no, nooo no no that's not it. In a way it was my fault. I got anxious."

How do you mean?

"Well... I kind of jumped on Juju as soon as I found out he was broken up with this previous relationship he'd just gotten out of. I wasn't stalking him or anything. I just kind of thought I was swooping in to help him land on his feet but it seems like he'd already hit rock bottom by the time I came around and I was unfortunate enough to be the one to kind of witness the aftermath of it all."

So you think things could have been different between you and Juju?

"Maybe... maybe but I try not to think about it now. If he catches up with me again, great! If not... well..." *blushing* "I'll still be thinking about him regardless."

Aren't there any other guys out there to hit your interests?

"A few... honestly, not really. Again. Juju was that kind of guy that kind of made his way into my fascination at a time when I wasn't so enthralled with my work. Not to mention the stories you hear about him and his family up north in Sierrace."

Suddenly this is becoming something more about Juju than yourself--

"It's starting to sound like that isn't it?" *offering another boisterous laugh followed by one of her sensationally bright smiles*

We all know you're of Snow-Leopard species, but what about ethnicity?

"Well I'm Iranian-German. My dad is a short-mained Lion of German descent and my mother being snow leopard of Iranian descent. Her parents however came from some place farther East and made themselves more prominent in the Iranian region. Don't ask how. I've just come to accept it as is and even when I've asked, the history is a bit jaded."

Fair enough... how about music? What kind of tunes are you into?

"Oh gawwwd," *her tails swishing side to side as if in some distinct timing of a song in her head* "Everyone calls it techno but there's more distinct layers to it all than to just call it techno. Personally, I'm a fan of the Florida dancefloor scene. Bump some House music and you're sure to have me bump along with you alllll night, baby."

Wow! Uhm... wow, jeez, uh... is it getting hot in here?

"I'm sorry, I got ahead of myself." *smiling brightly yet again*

No problem, not at all... but uh... aside from that, any specific artist come to mind?

"I'm not just about House music. I love just about everything and anything that comes out of groovebox, synthesizer, keyboard, deck set-- but I'm a complete round heel pushover for CJ Stone."

Nice!

"Ohhh I miss dancing to his songs with Juju..."

Um...

"Agggh! I did it again!" *covering her face as she laughs nervously* "I am sooo sorry!"

Nooo, no please don't, it's fine-- you seem to make a good statement about how you still feel about him.

"Personally, I think I should stop now because I feel like I'd just go on like some silly schoolgirl about that crazy catboy."

Fair enough, Marina, fair enough. So we'll conclude this interview-- however there are some short few moments still available, ehhh, care to share any last thoughts?

"No, not really. I feel like I've said enough on my part-- I tend to ramble and go on, much like how I was earlier. Being couped up in a research facility can do that to you when you don't have much interaction with people except the other lab coats and technicians who become just as-- alright, see? I'm doing it again."

*interviewer and Marina laughing together as Marina covers her muzzle afterwards and starts blushing innocently*
