Months after Star Fox disbanded (again), Fox and Krystal took a trip to a planet populated by mummified jackals. The jackals took a liking to the foxes, so they invited the couple to a special ceremony. After drinking the ceremonial (drugged) wine, the unconscious pair were taken to an altar. There, they were mummified before being made Pharoah and queen of a nearby jackal kingdom. After working on starting a new dynasty, the pair invited Panther and Falco to join them. Panther was made their willing mummified pet (anything to hear Krystal's sweet voice) while Falco was mummified and locked in a sarcophagus until he could appreciate the fox couple's "gift". Even after several years, Falco remained defiantly silent. Or maybe the sarcophagus was simply silencing his pleas.
