You only fight Kai on Chaos and both Neutral ending paths, and the Bad Ending path. Unlike Junias, there are waves of angels descending upon you that won't end until you defeat Kai.
Kai was practicing his martial arts in a cool, verdant public park, in the few hours of the day he had after he was done with his job. Anyone watching would have been witness to him repeatedly flinging a rope dart into the air, with much deft and sureness. He heard the news over a radio in a snack-selling shack, while downing a bottle of mineral water.
The Causeway connecting Malaysia and Singapore was destroyed in a series of giant explosions. The country also found itself under a lockdown enforced by the other Southeast Asian nations, with rumours that a severe viral plague has been unleashed upon the island.
On the trip home, he endured the sight of people raging in the streets and protesting the lockdown. Upon arriving, he went to check for any messages on an iPhone given to him three days before, from a friend who seemed desperate to get rid of it. A mysterious program called "infernal_geometry.exe" had activated itself on the phone, and there was a text message waiting for him.
