This is the breastplate made for the Nightmare cosplay.

Now you know what the gem fitting I posted before was made to go on.

Straps not yet added, but it fit Chythar beautifully.
It was also the third attempt, as my first two kept developing too much curvature and I could not hammer them back down flatter.

I finally got mad, just put a shallow dent down the center, and ran it through the english wheel until it had a shallow overall curve.
And that turned out to be the right technique.
