Got Jack last week from  Rust_never_sleeps, took some time to expand upon her background before posting!

Bio: Jacqueline spent her entire life around ships. She was born on ship during a great storm along the coast to the captain's wife, and didn't go ashore until she was nearly eight years old, always preferring to stay aboard the swaying vessel rather than stepping out onto the uncomfortably still port.

Her father, a privateer to some, a pirate to others, chose to retire around the time Jack turned 13, and sold the boat that she had grown up on to an aspiring merchant. The young Jackie was sad to see her old home go, but it wasn't her choice to make, and she spent the next three years ashore, before joining the navy and setting out to see once more.

Shipboard life suited her, and discipline did as well. Some years later, and she was the captain of her own ship. Of course, after a time, days of peace were upon them and many naval crews were disbanded for the time being. When the order came for Jack and her crew to leave their ship and head back onto shore, she laughed in the messenger's face and gave him a message to take back where he came from: "Come and take it."
