Materia Artistica: found feather shaped pins and blue nail enamel.
In the SCA there is a inter-kingdom society of sorts called Clan Bluefeather. It is the group for LBGT members. it is not a really official group and can be quite confusing to many at times as there are four camps that are basically Bluefeather and of course none of them are officially BLUEFEATHER even though one at least carries the name (Camp Bluefetaher with the others being Camp Urso, Ohoda -which i just know i misspelled-, and House Alexander, as well as other that are friendly to those of us that are bluefeather). it has no leaders or anything like that but is basically a way to in a more period fashion find each other and find support. the official badge is a Blue feather quill down on white background (yeah not in herald speak so sue me!) however people wear a lot of blue feathers in different ways such as a blue ostrich feather in a hat or on a favour or on a string or as an earing or whatever. there is not one way that people seem to do it. so i made these pins as yet another way to show the world who you are! Oh and in case you are wondering there are light blue feathers (though i made none since i have yet to find a nice sky blue enamel that does not look so glitter gay it hurts) for those that are not LBGT but are friends of the clan
anyway just some new jewelry i did for Pennsic that i finished last night while waiting for paint to dry and glue to heat...

there is no furry group i know of but i know there are a LOT of furs in the SCA. we should make a groups. My first ac i thought i would know like 6 people and most of them were the folks i came with. but i got there and it was like going to Pennsic with all the furs from the SCA i knew! (who i did not really know were furs either!)
The SCA at SCA.org. is a world wide medieval recreation/research group. especially if you are in North America it is easy to find a chapter. there are also people in Europe and Australia. it has many many different faces and interests and the SCA stands for Society for Creative Anachronism. cause there is an SCA that is a Society for antiquities as well bu they are not us.
Clan bluefeather is not an Official SCA type thing though if you can find a local group of SCA members especially anything near a college then there sho7uld be a few Bluefeather members there that may be able to help. otherwise i can answer a lot of questions and if you are on Live Journal there is a Bluefeather group there. and i know they have mail lists on Yahoo as well. but i am not sure where to link you on that one
