Desert Bus has been going strong for 11 years now and they're one of the most reliable charities I know of. :) When people ask what I recommend, I go to this one immediately if it's running. If not them, then The Seeing Eye because it's tough to beat organizations that not only give independence to the blind but also are working with groups worldwide to improve the health of dogs everywhere. :) Also my three guides are from there, so I am biased because they are great dogs. XD
