I've been a long time fan of the novels written by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child - especially their long-running Pendergast series. They recently made a call out to their fans to submit Pendergast inspired fanart, so I jumped at the opportunity! Here is my version of the lead character A. Pendergast going up against the museum monster, the Mbwun, in their first novel (and now film) "Relic".
