So hey! I made a new character like four months ago, a snake girl named Raya. She's a Bush Viper, design heavily influenced by this one right here, because god damn that's a beautiful danger noodle.

I was experimenting with a few things on this one, particularly linework, so it's not super great and I'll probably make a better reference image of her at a later date. Hopefully after I figure out a better way to convey her spikyness without drawing ten million spiny scales every time I draw her (seriously look at that hand what is that). Also because I've tweaked her design a bit, most notably being her length getting a lot longer (like, 30ish feet snoot to tail). But for now this is at least a finished image that's at least 85% correct to her appearance, so might as well upload it.

(Also yes, balloony things are sure to happen to her at some point.)



[Edit 11-19-17]: No, you're not remembering wrong, I did change the spelling of her name from Raia to Raya. Raya was actually what I was calling her for months after I initially settled on it, but I decided to change it to Raia in the interest of falling in line with the way I had been pronouncing it (as if that made sense). Then every time I typed it anywhere I had to correct it to the new way and it kept feeling totally wrong, so I'm just gonna change it back before it goes any longer and drives me insane.
