HEAD
The following questions ask you to explain how satisfied you are with each feature of the head of the costume. If you are reviewing only a set of ears, your answers would also go in this section.Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The suit is comfortable to wear and has very good ventilation.
My vision is pretty good, like most suits I cannot see directly in front of me.
Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The markings on the suit are exactly the way they should be. I did notice that the nostrils are a little lop sided, one is higher up than the other.
Despite the wrong colors, the fur itself is very nice, soft and evenly shaved.
OVERALL VISUAL SATISFACTION
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with the overall visual aspects associated with the costume. How satisfied are you with how closely the suit matches the concept art?
If there was no concept art, please state N/A
The problem I have with this suit is that my character is a brown color and the suit turned out grey. The maker says that they had to do this because I gave them a deadline for anthrocon. They did send me pictures of the colors they were planing to use, however they started putting it on the head before I even saw the message. They said they just used the closest colors they had because they did not have time to buy the right colors.
How satisfied are you with how well everything fits together and matches up?
Do you markings match up at the seams? Are the colors consistent?
The suit is very well made, there is one seam that kinda bothers me on the eyebrow. This is because it is pretty noticeable and makes the fur stick up a little. But maybe I am just being nit picky.
MAKER INTERACTION AND COMMISSION PROCESS
The following questions ask how satisfied you are with all the aspects of communication between you and the maker. How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
It was very easy to contact the maker and get a quote.
How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take them to respond?
They were very quick to respond and very friendly.
How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project?
Were any deadlines missed or was it done early?
The suit was done early. It was sent on May 28th and I wanted it done in time for AnthroCon 2017 which was on June 29th.
How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project?
I am very happy with my suit. It is comfortable, cute and well made.
How satisfied are you with the overall customer service and professionalism of the maker?
They were pretty professional and friendly.
Describe your experience. What were the pros and cons of working with this maker? And any final comments?
I am annoyed about the color of my fursuit and honestly felt like I should have maybe gotten some kind of discount because my suit was not the way it should have been. However I did not ask for anything.
I felt like I did not get as much imput as i would have liked with how the suit was made. I assume this was because of the deadline and they were rushing.
Even though they were rushing to get it done, it is very well made and does not look rushed at all.
So, if you do not have a deadline coming up close, this is a very good maker. But if you want it done quickly expect not getting the character quite the way you wanted.

WOOOW that's a dealbreaker for me. the colors aren't remotely close to one another, comparing to the reference... I feel like you're being /suuuuuper/ generous with this review! :<

Here is a recurring issue in the comments that I would like to clarify, as simple as possible: In Argentina we have really ridiculous import and customs laws, which make this type of job very difficult. Locally we have a limited selection of materials to choose from (specifically furr) and trying to get the right ones takes time ... and sometimes it is simply impossible (due to the import laws that I already mentioned).
This kind of problem is a constant drama for all the makers of our country, but they all do their best job!

Which criteria each maker uses to accept or decline to a job, I can not say that, but I can assure that NONE works under that premise.
My point was that in this country is added one more factor to consider, which is availability and importation. Saigo have a catalog of available colors that she present to each new client. In the time available to complete the commission (about 8 weeks) it is risky to venture to get a single fabric of a specific color: Will it arrive on time? How much will it cost by adding import taxes (also ridiculously high if you ask me) and how will that affect the final price? Will customs allow my order to enter? (I have a friend who bought MAKEUP, customs retained the package for a couple of months and finally never delivered it). These are risks that, if taken, could have ended in the Client not receiving her fursuit on the stipulated date. With all this in mind I would like to add that the questionnaire does not clarify anything about how much the Client takes to respond, which is also important when you have a deadline in mind.
My reply was very brief and open to this type of interpretation and I apologize for that, but again, nobody is based on "hopes that the client will feel bad" to get away with it.
(I used google tranlate, I apologize if grammar is off.)

I did not cancel because the suit was still very cute and I started to like the colors. I love your work and I adore my suit as well as other people that have seen her. The only issue I have is the colors and I feel like some people would be very upset about the colors.
I'm sorry if I put the wrong price, i must have forgot the exact amount.
