First time I've drawn fan art after finishing a book.

Pet Sematary is one of my favorite books by Stephen King. It's known as that one book King thought would be too scary to be published and I can totally see why.
What made it scary to me is not that it is about corpses coming back to life after being buried in an old indian cemetery or the fact that there's a wendigo lurking in the woods where the cemetery is located in.
The book tells a story about the grief and pain we feel when losing a beloved person and how easily we tend to forget that death is everywhere and can happen at any moment.

Reading this will make you realize how vulnerable and mortal we are and that is indeed one of the scariest things.
