Just a peak at a piece I will be finishing up this weekend. I've started the background now but I am open to critique/suggestions as there is still time for changes. This picture went through some major rework already that saved it from total ruin after getting some helpful local critique.

Like Aleutia said, The dark fur's tone and thickness looks really great! The muscle definition is equally impressive. Great pose too. It's difficult to tell that this is a WIP!
There's something about his eyes that throws me off. Not saying it's wrong or bad, but they're striking. Also, His forearm looks short, but I think that's because his hand is turned inward, right?
