well it makes since to give Arcues the ability to change Gender, I mean in the Anime he differently sounds like a male but what bothers me is he was the one who gave birth to Palkia, Dialga, Mew and all other legendary sure he could do what he did with the jewel of life but still its a thought. Besides he's a god he can do whatever he wants.

Now that you mention it, there was a Arceus event in Heart Gold & Soul Silver related to creating one of the Sinnoh trio with the power of the Unown. In his Pokedex entry states that he created the universe with his 1000 arms. Those 1000 arms are likely the Unown in a theory I've read. They're like codes in a software program. That Arceus event does happen in the manga where the Unown appear, if memory serves me right.

That's the thing about the Unown: Even with a team of them under the orders of a trainer, they can't tap into their power. It's like taking the coding out of the software program. The Unown are nothing more than numbers and letters of codes.
But funny enough, they stand a chance to against Cosmog and Cosmoem in the game because it has an attack move. XD
