All the conceptual tools are there to translate it into a video game it's just a matter of some studio deciding it would be a worthy investment. And of course they'd have to make the game and have it, ya know not suck.
For 1987 it was very ahead of it's time. The design of Grundo has alot in common with Hyrule and the numerous final fantasy worlds while still being very unique. I'd love to see it happen personaly but sadly I don't think Teddy would be too marketable with todays gaming youth.

To be fair, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be living here, but if/when I get my own place that I know I'll be in for an extended period of time, maybe I can do it then...

If you watch eBay long enough you can find a decent deal. You probably want to look for them separately as sellers who have the pair tend to want a little too much. The hardest part with the pair is finding the cable which wasn't very robust and not easily reproducible. It is getting harder to find them in fully operable condition as well. :)
