Well :) Thinking back on the lyrics of the song, it's sung in memory of the good times that were had, I'm not sure a sad face would work on the pose either. A sombre follow on picture of the same character remembering whoever he was running with would fit well, but it'd be a whole new picture.

hehe, nah, i think you seeing it the way its meant to look. i tried making it darker before i posted it but it didnt work for me and also the issue of if there is shadow, the shadow side would be light by the light refracting off the barley field. at least thats what i imagine light to do on white fur. i will play some more with this pic tonight to see if i can improve anything i might have missed :)
Heh, all I know is that for some people's sketches I have to crank my monitor way down to be able to even see them because of how light it is XD

"Fields of Gold" is one of the most awesome songs on Earth. As usual Zen, you've caught the romance and the soft feel of the song, in a way that defines your love for Icelyon. If anything, this drawing only increases my love for that song. Only a deep, passionate, loving relationship could produce a drawing that matches the mood of song, so precisely.
On a minor note, do remind Icelyon that he has a comm to finish for us. Otherwise, Goldie and I will have to take drastic measures.

Well this is an all around win piece for me. i absolutely love white lions. And better yet this one isn't even yiffy ^^ but i also have a great appreciation for Sting too! so double yay. I truly really like the mid-gallop pose here. hard to pull off and the angle is just perfect too. nicely done :D
