For some people, there will come a time that will show that you need to move beyond the limits of flesh and blood...
So, I've always loved cybernetics and cyberlimbs and things of that nature, and here we see an example of such. Kaj with cybernetic limbs! I'm quite happy how this turned out. Now, I will say, this isn't intended to be 'how kaj is now' because I don't think I'll ever actually get over my attachment to actual fingers and the like, but... I can totally rationalize this as an alternate universe kaj, where cyberlimbs were a much more viable option than internal ware.
