The Minotaurs of Adastra the passion for battle is lived in the Grand Arena without the grim shadow of death and hatred. Yet combat is never gentle and the Minotaurs are a tough and fierce folk.
Once every year there is a great tournament to honor the Grand Bull, who - as the Minotaurs believe - forged the wold in the fire of the stars. The tournament lasts two months and gladiators, warriors and knights from all over Adastra come to participate. Not only Minotaurs. From elven shamans to leonine knights and aven captains there are countless who want to prove their skills and get a chance for the great price that awaits the victorious fighter, the price of immortality that will be bestowed from the demon that lives in the sacred forge.
The first minotaur ever to achieve this gift was Varkhan of the Cindermane-Clan. With his greatsword and flaming elementals he triumphed over every other fighter in the arena.
