Anna is my favorite OC, a minor character in several of my erotica, and the protagonist of a comic I hope to one day have drawn.

She's mostly a whooping crane, but also part-phoenix. Mostly likely from her father's side. Usually, a distant phoenix ancestry doesn't result in anything unusual. Anna's one of the rare cases where they don't turn out normal. She's completely fire-proof, and almost nothing on earth can kill her.

Anna is a person that has gone through some complicated life changes. When she lost her family in a fire - the same incident where she discovered that can't die - she gradually lost interest in living a healthy life. She quit the police force after a violent incident that got her precinct into some trouble and dabbled in private security and bodyguard work for a while.

Eventually, she found her calling as an assassin. That worked pretty well for her for about two years, until she got caught by the Supernatural Defense Bureau. She works for them these days (and not entirely by choice), fighting various supernatural things that threaten us everyday folk.

Once, she would have found this type of work deeply fulfilling. But the well being of strangers doesn't mean much to her, anymore.
