Until a more direct use for her unique skillset can be found, the most effective thing that can be done with Ingrid is simply to remind people that she exists. She has been put on regular patrols, usually sent out alone with instructions to call for backup should she need it. This has yet to happen. She is no longer particularly suited to most indoor duties, at least not ones where the front wall of the building needs to remain intact; thankfully, her presence is all the deterrent anyone needs. The heavy thuds of her footfalls during a leisurely jog through the streets can be felt for nearly a block, which she has gleefully taken into account when planning her beat.
While it is certainly preferable to spending her days cooped up in the station, the fact that she does not have any problems tough enough to stand up to her has been weighing on Ingrid's mind. She is happy to serve, to maintain order and to bring justice with her own fists, though in some ways it would be simpler to have a more traditionally-sized officer just drive a tank up and down the streets for all the good she's doing. She will admit that at least she cuts a more pleasant and inspirational figure than a mere piece of hardware; this way she is someone for the community to look up to, in both the figurative and extremely literal sense.

It had seemed in the previous image that Ingrid was growing, if not insolent, then at least difficult to manage (unless you happened to be larger).
Here and in the following images that no longer appears to be the case. In Rocks the Blue Line, her devotion is described as almost religious. Out of curiosity, what changed? What did the Counselor do to gain Ingrid's respect? Or is the Counselor larger than Ingrid (and thus fulfills the earlier requirement for management)?

She's still feeling heavily underutilized in this picture; it's not until she starts working for the Counselor that things start going like she'd like.
What exactly the Counselor showed her, or promised her, is best left unstated. I'm not sure I could really do it justice with the information available to the public right now.
Not that she's any stranger to shows of unbelievably overwhelming force or anything, but she clearly showed Ingrid *something* she respected~
