awesome! response to phaux: yeah, probably a nagant. there were only two sniper rifles in the world war I can think off the top of my head, the nagant, a wood stock rifle, and the PTRS, a high power, but less accurate sniper rifle, no wood stock. most likely a nagant, or another wood stock russian rifle I don't remember.
although i used this as a reference http://www.rollanet.org/~stacyw/rus.....niper_full.jpg
i see... well, in my honest opinion, that most likely by process of elimination is a nagant. on account of it being bolt action. if it was otherwise not bolt action or lever action, then it likely was just an average russion rifle. bolt action rifles like that only shoot once every pull of the trigger, and have to load another bullet with the bolt, but their power is terrifying, which is why snipers use it most to pick off enemies.
