CLIFF NOTES
Zee informs Scooter and Tealeon that the magical enchantment that had touched everyone within the forest has started to wane. This wisdom verifies a worry recently held by Scooter who has begun to notice his ability to fabricate artifacts out of thin air to become a bit sloppy and inconsistent.
Knowing that the loss of Scooter’s powers would severely cripple their ability to defend themselves as a whole, the group decides it is time to take the fight to King Avis himself.
After much strategizing, it is decided that Tealeon, Zee, Toroth, Tacki, Darkpaw, and Yosh will journey off to Castle Bennet while Scooter, Risu, Acara, and Foxie remain back to help hold back any over zealous, glory seekers attempting to exploit the king’s order to take Scooter and Tealeon by any means necessary.
Once everything is decided, Acara informs Tealeon of a nearby farmhouse that she has found lodging in during her travels that is about a day’s journey out. From here, Foxie encourages the party to trek to Azure and seek refuge with her brother to whom she is confident could arrange safe travel to Castle Bennet.
All goes well until the party reaches the town of Azure. Here, they learn that the mercenary group, The Quick and the Angry, have murdered Foxie’s brother and taken possession of Tealeon’s friend, Oxnard. Knowing the mercenaries were going to deliver Tealeon’s hamster friend to the king so that he could extract The Master Brush from his body, the party is left with no other choice but to venture onward with the hopes of finding another safe way into the castle.
Through the help of the aspiring youths, Kaffre and Berto, Tealeon’s team reaches the ceremonial chamber just in time to stop Coonishi of The Quick and the Angry from delivering Oxnard to the king. A grand battle ensues as Fuxie of The Quick and the Angry and Ham-Ham take on Tealeon while Avis works to drain Scooter Squirrel of what power he has left.
All seems lost until Risu, who was previously defeated by Fuxie back in the forest of Bennet, returns to save her squirrel friend. The distraction of Risu’s arrival is just enough to allow Scooter a chance to transfer what power he has left to Tealeon, which turns out to be just enough for him to thwart Fuxie and, ultimately, defeat King Avis.

I'm very much enjoying the cliffnotes version this time around. (: Even if retrospectives and summaries are reductive, it at least can make it easier to capture a picture. This section was a doozy to load though! But it worked. :3 I'm glad you were able to fit it all together alright!
I'm really happy that the Cliff Notes were of good use. Again, thanks for helping to give me the idea to use them. :)
This section was a real beast to get through and to. I was actually telling my wife last night about how this story became far longer than I had ever initially intended it to to be and how I kind of had to hit the brakes at this point and say, "Okay, end it before you never end it at all." <LoL!>
One more to go. Likely will post that baby either tonight or early tomorrow. Depends on what happens today. ;)
