Melody Fireheart - Sword & Sorcery swordswoman.
An old, unused character redesigned as an OC.

Melody has no direct control over the Fireheart power; it only activates when her passions are aroused during situations in which she has a strong emotional attachment. It manifests itself as a glow from within her chest and her hair fluffs up like a Studio Ghibli heroine. She also gains additional (but not supernatural) strength, speed and endurance.

As an example - it wouldn't activate if she was fighting a gang of random bandits and she may well consider discretion the better part of valour if faced with overwhelming odds. On the other hand, it would activate if those bandits were threatening something or someone she loved; which is just as well as she would be more likely to charge in recklessly and fight them all at once.

While I abandoned all pretence of practicality during the redesign process, I momentarily considered how she'd actually put on her Battle Bikini (I don't know if this would actually work...) It's not shown but her sword belt is seperate to her bikini bottom (which, like her top, is cloth/leather with a metal plate in front).

Many thanks to everyone who left feedback; even if your suggestions didn't make it into the final design, there were several ideas that I don't want to give up on, so you may see them at some point in the future.
