Shining the Night Away

Club Extinction. The most popular nightclub in the small town of Marina. Many types of furries and scalies frequented this place, ranging from Gothic, Punk, or even your normal club ravers. One of the creatures that goes to this club was quite a popular being. She was as black as night with a white underbelly and purple pinstripe in-between wearing special clear white acrylic visors upon her broad snout. Her body dressed in a halter top and short pants with white matching trims. However, that wasn't the reason why she was so popular. It was the neon glow that her circuit markings gave off. Only three colors of neon from green, cyan and purple cycled through those circuits. She was named, Neon Recharge the Tiger Shark/Velociraptor hybrid.
Once every month throughout the year, Club Extinction was lit with a free admission rave on a Friday night and Neon definitely couldn't turn down the thought of going. She was bouncing around her apartment; excited with eagerness while counting down the days going by. As soon as the night came, she slipped on her rave gear, grabbed her glow sticks and hula hoop, then darted out her apartment door. So many creatures were going. The line was long, security was tight, but as soon as she was able to get in was when the rave really became alive. Neon glowed her circuit marks brightly with her glow sticks, stepped out into the center of the dance floor and showed off her tricks with her hula hoop. Everyone surrounded her in a large circle, cheering and shouting with awe. For sure she was the biggest hit of the night.
It wasn't long till there was one pair of eyes that caught the sight of her. He was tall a crimson red shark with a light blue underbelly and red fuzzy pin line in-between. Red-orange pupils surrounded by yellow for his eyes. His friends called him WubDub, for he had a passion for enjoying Dubstep type of music. Curiosity peaked in him as he watched the brightly lit female showing off on the dance floor and slowly made his way over to the circle to get a closer look. Neon swayed her hips in a hypnotizing motion with the hula-hoop syncing along with the beat. It was if she was in her own little world for a moment until her own eyes had caught a glimpse at the male shark that soon appeared inside the circle. She beckoned to him to join her, having the feeling that he could be a good dancer and wouldn't mind having a partner on the floor.
WubDub didn't hesitate. He took the offer and broke out into dance with his feet tapping to the beat. The two were nearly in sync after the last few songs played. Neon placed aside her hula-hoop to join the male, break dancing and doing one-handed handstands while he began to tumble into rolls around the inner circle. She chuckled, trying to hide a growing blush upon watching him. " Alright, y'all. " shouted out the DJ. " I'm gonna take a break for a while and let things slow down, but I want to give a shout-out to our popular V.I.C. of the club, Neon Recharge! " The crowd broke out into applause and howling cheers before they dispersed into different sections in the club. Even the male next to her stopped his dance to praise her. Then he spoke up, offering out a hand.
" That was really amazing dancing, miss-? " He said, leaning forward into a small bow before her. " N-neon. " She replied, taking his hand to shake it. " My name's Neon. Neon Recharge as the DJ had announced. And you are? " The male smiled as her hand was placed in his, holding it for a moment longer. " WubDub. " He grinned softly. " You could call me Wub for short if you'd like. " Then escorted her over to a table, moving a chair aside for her before he sat himself down. " So, you're the V.I.C. of Club Extinction. How did that come about? " Neon ordered a few shots of Kinky Blue and Kinky Red Liqueur to share with him. " Well, it was quite a long process that's for sure. " She first explained how she was merely a normal raver who didn't know how to dance at all, but wanted to be eventually known. And one night that dream came true.
