One of the aquatic Eldara and a simulant. They are still capable of flight thanks to being a combination of bio-technological and magical engineering, but beyond that they are a fairly mundane representation beyond their coloration, markings and the inclusion of horns extending from the base of their ears. And unlike their terran cousins, excess energy is released from the pseudo gills around their ribs rather than any cranial extensions or horns. 'Gem' placement is also more widely varied, they can have varying types of fur or scales and their feet lack true talons, leading to them being tipped with keratinous spines. They can tense the tendons in their feet so they become pointed for walking and running unhindered.
I have a bunch of notes about the physical aspects and I am still working more on their culture and society, beyond what I know about simulants and terrans at least. I also need to figure out actual names for each type...
