An old picture from the archives... Several years ago I was working for six months in Manila, and met up with the talented Filipino furry artist Rommel Ignacio. Seeing as one of the main features of transport in the Philippines is the (in)famous Jeepney, it was only a matter of time before the two were combined!
Notes:
* "EDSA" is (if my memory serves) "Epiphano de la Santos Avenue", a major road in Manila which was also the site of both "People Power" revolutions.
* My jeepney has far too *few* lights and decorations :)

Hey... I'm from the Philippines :) so who's the guy? is he here in FA?
I really don't like jeepney drivers though, they're driving's unpredictable, they don't change broken light(like brake lights) and they are one of the reasons why there is heavy traffic here everyday. It's hard for a student driver:(
But it's hella cheap and it'll get you there :)

Mabuhay!
In answer to your question re: Rommel, I don't believe he is here on FA - in fact he doesn't have any real web-presence at all, and I don't even know if he's still doing furry art. But back in the day Rom did great artwork for various comic publishers like Shanda Fantasy Arts and United Publications, as well as a lot of fanzine stuff. The only example of his art that I know of which is online is a pic he did of my fursona (http://www.furry.org.au/mayfurr/Artwork/Guests/MayFurr-RKCI.jpg).
I never drove in the Philippines - it was scary enough riding in taxis, and the only time I rode a jeepney I took comfort in *not* getting a driver's eye view of the road. You're obviously braver than I am! :)

Thanks! :) I spent a good hour at the corner of Pasay Rd and Makati Avenue in Manila watching the jeepneys going by to get the details. It was the first time I'd ever seen the concept of "variable one-way roads" - especially when one jeepney driver decided to use the footpath when the road had no lanes free in the direction that he wanted!
