older sketch of mine. I love drawing dragons with a saddle on, but I'm always trying to figure out how exactly to draw saddles on dragons since their wings get in the way.

Yeah, that is surely difficult to attach there. Maybe he would have to ride on his neck?

I could definitely move it closer to his neck. I've always imagined saddles at the nook where the neck meets the back.

Yeah, at the nook would surely be the best spot, neck alone would be too weak to carry a human, yet further behind obstructs the wings. Maybe you need the harness for the saddle to go around both the neck and the shoudlers with seperate straps?
