A commissioned backpack for a returning customer! This time instead of her cheetah character, she wanted her dutchie. I really enjoy making dutchies, and my clients seem to like them enough to keep coming back for more! Heh! I hope to someday have the opportunity to make a D.A.D suit for a client.

Illy is made with minky, nylon strapping with side releasing buckles, and a cotton lining for her bag compartment. Her mouth, nose, eyes, fingers and toes all have careful thread sculpting to give them extra detail (It doesn't show up well in photography due to the black fabric)

Her pawpads are carefully appliqued in place as are her stripes. All of her feathers have been individually cut and sewn with a pleat "quill" down the center line for added detail. She stands roughly 24" in height (I haven't gotten an official measurement yet)
