In my story, "New Animal Life", Snippy Squirrel (my OC) and his wife, Slappy Squirrel, as their young adult selves, have grown beautiful long hair. They are so happy that they permanently follow Marty Mongoose (another OC of mine) and Minerva Mink's lifestyle by wearing long sweaters and have long hair forever, no longer wearing their hats.
