CLIFF NOTES
Book 1 comprises the first five sections of The Creative Campaign. It tells of how a great planeswalker, Nishidor, came to fabricate a most amazing artifact, The Master Brush, to collect mana from worlds he would travel to in an attempt to bring life back to his war torn homeland.
Throughout this process, he catches the attention of an elf summoner, Xander, who is sent by his elders to follow after him and ensure that his intentions are both pure and that his powers never are used for evil purposes.
During his travels, Xander acquires a most peculiar friend, Oxnard, who is a hamster who joins up with him and offers his services in exchange for friendship and adventure.
Eventually, Nishidor's travels bring Xander and Oxnard to the Further Realms. Here, a desperate king, Avis Brightwing, plots to exploit the planeswalker's kind heart. However, when he attempts to do so, he is thwarted by Xander, Oxnard, and a kind-hearted stranger by the name of Scooter Squirrel.
In the end, Xander is fused with his summoned, spirit dragon, Maelstrom, while Oxnard is thrown to the winds after being merged with The Master Brush by Nishidor. The forest region in which this event takes place then becomes enchanted as Nishidor unleashes his power in a massive explosion that gives Scooter Squirrel the ability to fabricate tools out of thin air.

Hehe, this story was lots of fun! :3
I've been looking back at it lately because of what I'm working on now, and the only thing that confused me was all the changes that went through for Tealon's character. I think there are only two parts that confuse me, but it's only near the end. Xander becomes Maelstrom after the paintbrush thing, and transforms from a half-elf-ish guy to a dragon? I'll have to re-read to figure out when he turns from Maelstrom to Tealeon... and then in the end, I think when Scooter helps him in the final battle, Tealon becomes... more dragon-ish? :3
I dunno, I didn't want to spoil anything on an early part but re-reading it, I got confused with his changes. 8D
But I'm glad there's a bigger collection for the beginning of this story!

You know, I thought about that myself amidst the creation of The Creative Campaign. Though, I think I can summarize it down quite simply through the following.
1: There are no pictures of Xander before his battle against Avis Brightwing. So, up to this point, imagine your typical elf character up to this point.
2: Once Nishidor unleashes his power, Xander becomes fused with the dragon he summoned. The dragon's name was Maelstrom. Because of the fusion, Xander elects to rename himself Tealeon Maelstrom in honor of his spirit dragon and the fact he has acquired teal colored features.
At this point, he looks like this.

3: Tealeon remains in this form until the very end during his battle with Fuxie. Scooter begins the process of changing him into his full, anthro-dragon form, which culminates when he defeats Avis Brightwing.
