Ah, exactly a year ago tomorrow, my main OC Alex will turn a year old on November 6th 2017. Alex was originally a character I created for a political cartoon, and I pretty much fell in love with his design. It took me weeks to think of a name, I had like Alex for the longest of time, and after feeling like I should chose a name before my art trade with lolzipops around late November or early December of last year, I decided I should pick a name, and am very happy with the choice I made, I feel it suits him very well. I slowly made little changes over time with new features I figured would fit my new ability. I feel like some people mix Alex up as a fursona, and even my brother who I should point out hates furries thought he was a sona. I have been told by people, including my grandparents who like to leave comments on my Facebook uploads of my art that he does kind of look like me, and I can kind of see it, but that was never intentional. Alex is kind of the mascot for me as an artist, but he does not at all represent me as a person. I've actually been working on a fursona, he's a dark grayish black canine, I'm still deciding on whether I want him to be a wolf or a domestic dog, and hope to put out a first drawing soon, and maybe even order a fursuit of my sona in the near future. But anyway, I will never order a fursuit of Alex simply because he is an OC rather than a fursona, but I probably won't include my fursona in my art as much as Alex, because he is more to represent me both as an icon, and in the future physically as a fursuit.
