It tends to vary. I've seen a variety of methods.
With mine, the chimera is Kinshasa, the gazelle head is Kinsha, the cheetah head Shasa, and the Cobra entity is Ess. They all have different personalities and thoughts.
I've seen a few other naming conventions, though the compounded name is popular.
