Canvis shreem mimic
A highly rare and even higher elusive species of shreem constricted to the southern borders of the american continents. The Canvis shreem mimic are a rather expensive if not extremely rare species of shreem that are well known for their ability to manipulate their appearance. Such displays play a large roll in why this species of shreem is so sought after. Although only a hypothosis it is said that once these unique abilities were adapted for survival when larger, now extinct species of animals roamed in greater number. While these abilities of adaptation and mimicry are not uncommon in other animal species, the canvis shreem mimic have a unique advantage far more superior to that unlike anything else witnessed. Recent studies suggest that this unique ability is found at the core cellular level. Single active gene masses group to begin mass self destructive cell breakdown. Such activity begins advanced decomposing of active muscles and various other forms within the body. In a sense this very act is the body dieing at the cellular level. During this process the body reacts to the stimulation that unlike a virus. In the same stratedgy as how antibodies are spread, newly formed key cells are created from the flexis located in the lower abdominal location of the body and spread throughout the body. As decomposition continues, both the inner and outer body loses mass and begins dissintergration. The newly placed key cells activly multiply and reform counterparts of the originals from blood to the very muscle and bone. strategectly these new cells are pre destined to take on their next form that like a pattern, an ability belong to a species found on the ocean predator, the octopus. Canvis shreem mimics are only usable as pets and are not deemed a sociable species. Canvis shreem mimics are to be handled with high care. While the shreem are known to be rather playful and active creatures, any number of stress can cause premature irreversable pre-decomposition. It is within standard shreem safety regulation that any owner in possesion is to report regular physical registration on an average basis. If not obeyed, violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
