Owls are cute, too What exactly is a cat cafe?

well now I'm really curious what the owl cafe is. I imagine a cafe with a bunch of owls hopping and flying everywhere. Might be cute... if they don't steal your sandwich

I dont think we could ever do an owl cafe in MA., theyre more of a wild animal sanctuary critter than anything else :B

Indeed! The owls were SOOPER CUTE. They were typically the tiny varieties with eyes as big as mill stones. We got to see a few of them outside the cafe where they entice you to go in, but taking pictures of them was often frowned upon it seemed.

The cat cafes are usually a coffee, tea and sweets kind of establishment and when you come in you get either a private room with a few cats to pet or sit on your lap while you enjoy your refreshments, or you are in a larger room with cats roaming around that you can watch or pet.

There are other iterations of this model involving bunnies and I'm sure puppies and adult dorgs as well.

the possibilities for this business model are endless. I'm gonna open a Big Cat Cafe! Enjoy tea and a muffin in a room full of tigers! When scientists bring back the dinosaurs, this is the direction to go, not a theme park!

My failed Pony Cafe' closed after the ponies kept drinking all the patrons' green tea, knocked over all the tables and ate the tatami right off the floor. They also absconded with all the apple turnovers and carrot cake! =P
